Throughout our class’s examination of election issues and the election candidates, I have learned many new, interesting facts. For example, I learned that that there are more than two parties. Before our discussions, I believed that a candidate could only be a republican or democrat, but I now realize that there are others such as the Libertarian Party or Green Party. In addition, I learned that different parties can agree or have the same perspective on a political issue, as opposed to each candidate always having a different opinion. Finally, I realized that most of the issues have to do with the government adding more rules and regulations, or allowing immigrants, instead of mostly war decisions or money issues.

The Correct Way to get Info
Using both open and closed questions have many benefits such as, helping provide you with the most accurate response when asking a question. When you ask a closed question, the answer you will be given should be a very short answer containing only one to three words. Closed questions help you get the information you need and nothing more. However, asking an open question can also be extremely helpful. The response to an open question will include both the answer and the explanation behind the answer. It will give you the benefit of knowing the reasoning of why the answer to your question is correct.
Using Google Search Tips will help you find the most precise search results for what you search for, and exclude every unwanted recommendation Google suggests and will keep the recommendations you want. For example, typing a minus sign before a word tell Google not to show results for the recommended word that follows. If by typing one word, and Google shows results for another word that is recognized with the one searched, putting a minus sign before the second word will prevent results for the second recommended word. For instance, typing “Orlando -bloom” will exclude results for the actor and show results for the city. Also, a very significant Google Search Tip that helps provide the most accurate results is using quotations marks. Putting words in quotes will provide more precise, or more accurate search results. For example, without putting words in quotes, google finds results for every word you type in, such as showing results for a bull and a dog after searching “bulldog”. Putting words in quotes will show that you want those words connected, not separate results for each word. There are tons of other Google Search Tips that will contribute to giving you more knowledge on researching, and help you find the best results.
